The second is the relay, where you book two hours and take one each, so both of you get the full experience and the second of you goes in already knowing what is coming. Write on WhatsApp or Telegram and put the words four hands in the first line, so there is no confusion with a session each. Then add who is receiving, one of you or both in turn, the hour you want to start, the area you are staying in and the length. Names are optional. If one of you already has a therapist in mind from the roster, include her and we will pair her with someone she works well beside. Our reply comes within about ten minutes and carries both names, a start time and the price. When you confirm, the two therapists set off together and reach addresses in the centre forty to sixty minutes later. Send your room number or buzzer name while they are on the way, and the only job left for either of you is opening the door.

With a session each, two therapists share a room but work on separate people, so a brand-new pairing costs very little. Four hands is different. Both of them are on one body, reading the same breathing, and the gap between a pair who know each other and a pair who have just met is felt within the first minute. Practised partners pass strokes across without a word, keep their weight balanced so you are never tipped towards one side, and mirror each other without counting out loud. An hour of four hands is long enough to feel the effect clearly and short enough to suit a first try. Two hours give the work time to slow down properly, and they are the usual choice when both of you are taking a turn. Longer bookings follow the same arithmetic at EUR 360 an hour for the pair, so a three-hour evening comes to EUR 1,080. If what you really want is a very long night with a single therapist rather than two, the eight-hour overnight is EUR 1,250 and is arranged through the same thread. Whatever length you settle on, the total in your confirmation is the total you pay at the door, and there is no premium for the pairing itself. Neither of you needs to work out fractions of an hour on the night; say the length, and the figure comes back with the names.

Four hands asks for access to both sides of one bed, and very little else. Clear the floor down each long edge so a therapist can move from head to foot without stepping around luggage, warm the room slightly, and bring the lighting down to a lamp. A king bed is comfortable, a standard double is fine, and a sofa bed is workable if it folds out flat. The therapists carry oils, towels and a clean cover for the mattress. If the partner who is not receiving wants to stay in the room, a chair by the window works better than perching on the bed, which would leave the pair less space to move.
