01 Dam Square · Amsterdam
Two therapists, sent to wherever the pair of you are staying in Dam Square.
Dam Square is where first trips to Amsterdam begin, and where couples discover how far a city of canals makes you walk. The booking we see most often from these streets arrives on the first or second evening, from two very tired pairs of feet.
02 Staying in Dam Square
Every visitor ends up on the Dam sooner or later, and for a couples massage, Dam Square hotels make the logistics about as simple as they get. The square sits in the middle of the old city with the palace along one side, the white memorial column on the other, and the shopping streets of Kalverstraat and Nieuwendijk running away from it in both directions. Couples on a first trip often pick a hotel within sight of it, reasoning that everything will be close, and they are right. What nobody mentions is that close in Amsterdam still means miles of cobblestones, bridges and stairs by the end of a day. The reason couples book from here is often recovery as much as romance, although the two tend to arrive together. The two of you come back to the room at seven with sore calves and a list of everything you saw, and instead of forcing yourselves out again, you stay in and let two therapists come to you.
The streets around the square never fully sleep. By day they carry some of the busiest pavements in the city, with trams, tour groups and street performers, and at night the crowds thin without ever quite disappearing. The hotels here are mostly large and practical, which suits a couples booking well: rooms with a clear stretch of floor, a desk that slides aside and a front entrance that is never locked away behind a keypad. Smaller hotels in the lanes behind the square are tighter, though a pair of therapists can usually arrange two surfaces in a few minutes. Many of the bigger hotels were built for exactly the guests who book this, visitors with full days and aching legs, and their rooms tend to have a clear run from the door to the window. Street-facing rooms can be bright and noisy, so ask for one at the back if you have the chance, or simply close the curtains and let the room go dim. Raadhuisstraat and the Rokin both carry traffic late, and a room on either will be calmer with the windows shut and the heating on.
First-trip couples tend to book the practical version first. Two therapists, one each, at EUR 360 an hour, with firm classical work through calves, feet and lower backs, because that is where a day of sightseeing lands. The two sessions run side by side and end together, and each of you decides how deep the work goes. Some couples book a second evening later in the trip and choose differently, taking something slower such as tantra or sensual massage once the legs have recovered. Ninety minutes with a pair, EUR 540, is the length we suggest for a first booking from these streets, long enough for real work and short enough to leave room for a late dinner if the two of you still have the energy, though most find they do not. Nuru works well in the larger hotel bathrooms around the square.
Message us on WhatsApp and a confirmation with both names follows in about ten minutes; arrival anywhere around the Dam is twenty to thirty minutes from then. Include the room number and the name on the reservation. If you are in one of the apartments above the shopping streets, the entrance is often a narrow door squeezed between two shopfronts, so add the house number and the floor. Payment is settled at the door, once, in cash, by card or in crypto. One therapist is EUR 180 an hour, a pair is EUR 360 an hour, three hours with a pair is EUR 1,080, and an eight-hour overnight with one therapist is EUR 1,250. Everything is outcall only, around the clock, and for adults twenty-one and older.
03 Within reach
A hotel room, a canal apartment or a rental on any of these streets gets the same flat rate and the same arrival window, whether it is one therapist or two.
Staying just outside the list? Name the street in your message and we will tell you honestly how long it takes.
