Expect a narrow building and a deep flat. The standard West apartment runs front to back over one floor of a nineteenth or early twentieth century block: a sitting room at the street end with tall windows, a bedroom behind, a kitchen squeezed between them. Message us the street, the number, the floor, the bell name and the hour, and mention any stair that would surprise somebody carrying a bag. Have the door release or a phone to hand, because the buzzer in these blocks is not always reliable. Money changes hands once, in the flat rather than on the step, in cash in any major currency, by card or in crypto, and nothing is taken in advance.
