Marina, and how she works.

Hospitality in her hands is practical rather than a mood — water poured, curtains adjusted, the two of you settled before anything begins. She likes the symmetry of couples work, two people arriving at the same place by slightly different routes, and she and her partner for the evening tend to finish within a breath of each other. De Pijp is her neighbourhood and she knows which buildings have a lift and which have the staircase. Greek and English, warm in both, and none of the warmth switched on for the occasion.

She works outcall only — your hotel room, your serviced apartment, your own flat. Twenty to thirty minutes across the centre once the booking is settled, at any hour. Schiphol airport hotels are by arrangement.
